We collect information from you when you make a booking through our reservation system or stay at Hotel Del Sol. Information collected during your reservation and during your stay may include:

  • Your name, email address, home and business address, phone number, nationality and payment card information;
  • Information such as stay and room preferences made during the course of your reservation such as your preferred room type and specific requests to the hotel.

This information may be provided to us directly when you make a reservation through our websites or directly at the hotel. In some cases we may receive this information from a third-party, such as when you book through an online travel agency. 

How we use this information

We use the information collected from you primarily to fulfil your hotel reservation. Prior to your stay this may include sending your information about our hotel or sending you pre-stay communications. Following your stay, we may also send you post-stay communications and satisfaction surveys to get feedback on your experience.

We also may use information related to your stay to display targeted advertisements on our websites or on third-party websites or to send you more relevant messaging. Additionally, we use this information for purposes of aggregated trend and statistical analysis to evaluate and improve our products and services, plan new hotel locations and services and other market research.

We take the utmost care to ensure that the Personal Information we obtain from you is not used in a way that you may be unaware of or are not agreeable to. Social Media Terms and Conditions

The purpose of this section is to confirm that you have granted the Hotel Del Sol permission to post and use your photographs on the hotels’ commercial social media accounts. Currently, the hotels maintain social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and Google+, all of which are publicly accessible from links at the bottom of the hotels’ main websites. By permitting the hotels to post and use your images, you release the hotels and their employees from any liability for copyright infringement or other claims related to the use of the photographs. This permission will continue indefinitely, but you can revoke your permission at any time by sending an e-mail or letter to the hotels’ general manager; however, it may take the hotels up to 30 days to remove the photographs after we acknowledge receipt of such an e-mail or letter.
